North Clackamas School District (NCSD) serves a diverse community across more than 40 square miles, located 12 miles from downtown Portland. The district includes the cities of Milwaukie, Happy Valley, and Johnson City, as well as parts of Damascus and the neighborhoods of Oak Grove, Concord, Clackamas, Sunnyside, Mount Scott, Southgate, and Carver. With 15 elementary schools, five middle schools, and eight high schools, along with three magnet schools and four charter schools, NCSD provides a comprehensive and innovative education for its students.
With a student-to-teacher ratio of 20:1, slightly above the Oregon state average of 19:1, NCSD is committed to ensuring every student receives personalized support.
