Originally established in 1939 as an all-boys Catholic high school in Portland Central Catholic became a co-ed school in 1980. Since that time the school continues to grow with a diverse student population from the Portland Metro area as well as southwest Washington. Central Catholic is a college preparatory school focused on serving the Catholic community in the Portland area.
