Fun Fact, the moving equipment and storage rental company U-Haul got its start in Ridgefield in 1945.
Outdoor activities are abundant in the area. There’s a 21-mile long water trail for kayaking or canoeing, miles of woodland trails and wildlife watching in the 5300 acre Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.
