The West Linn-Wilsonville School District boasts a 90% graduation rate and serves 42 square miles southwest of downtown Portland. In addition to the cities of West Linn and Wilsonville the district’s boundaries encompass unincorporated areas of southwestern Clackamas County. A small portion of the city of Tualatin is also within the district’s boundaries. There are approximately 8400 students enrolled throughout schools in the district. The district has nine primary three middle three high schools and one charter schools serving the community. The School District fosters a growth mindset in its students which is shown by the student’s willingness to persist in learning at high levels. West Linn is located 20 miles southwest from downtown Portland and is ranked one of the top 10 cities to live in Oregon.
