Valley Catholic School, serving pre-K through 12th grade, is rooted in the mission of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon, fostering a faith-filled learning community that nurtures compassionate leaders guided by Catholic values, prayer, service, and love. Established in 1886, Valley Catholic is one of Oregon’s longest-standing educational institutions, evolving from its origins as an all-girls academy into a co-educational school on a 43-acre campus in Beaverton. The school is recognized for its strong academics, character development, and commitment to service, ensuring students graduate as well-rounded individuals prepared for college and beyond.

A defining feature of Valley Catholic School is its rich tradition in music education, which has been an integral part of student life for over a century. Students have access to multiple music programs, including choir, band, and orchestra, as well as private music lessons available to both students and the general public through the Valley Catholic Music School. With a deep appreciation for the arts, faith, and academic excellence, the school provides an engaging and supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially.

Located in Beaverton, Valley Catholic offers a challenging academic curriculum, a variety of extracurricular activities, and a commitment to faith-based education. With its longstanding history, dedicated faculty, and strong Catholic identity, Valley Catholic School continues to shape the next generation of compassionate, service-driven leaders.
