Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) has been Oregon’s flagship college of art and design since 1909, shaping the state’s visual arts and creative landscape for over a century. Located in the heart of Portland, PNCA offers students an immersive, hands-on fine arts education with award-winning faculty, small class sizes, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Over the past decade, PNCA has doubled its student body and full-time faculty, quadrupled its endowment, and expanded its undergraduate and graduate programs. The college provides a rigorous blend of humanities, sciences, and art-making, ensuring that students develop technical skills, critical thinking, and a strong creative voice. Undergraduates choose from ten concentrations within four majors, while graduate students engage in innovative, interdisciplinary programs.

Students benefit from 11 galleries and a nationally acclaimed museum of craft and design, providing numerous opportunities to showcase their work. In January 2015, PNCA relocated to a state-of-the-art campus in Portland’s North Park Blocks, offering a vibrant and inspiring environment for emerging artists and designers. With its strong industry connections, emphasis on contemporary art practices, and deep community engagement, PNCA remains a premier destination for creative education in the Pacific Northwest.
