In 2024, Multnomah University announced a merger with Jessup University, officially becoming the University’s Portland Campus. This transition marked a new chapter for the institution, aligning with Jessup’s commitment to Christ-centered higher education while maintaining a strong academic and theological foundation.
In January 2025, the Jessup Portland Campus announced that beginning in Fall 2025, it will no longer offer in-person traditional undergraduate or counseling programs. Instead, the Portland location will focus on seminary, graduate, and online education, ensuring students continue to receive high-quality, flexible, and faith-based learning opportunities.
With a legacy dating back to 1936, Multnomah has long been known for biblical and theological education, and its transition under Jessup reflects a commitment to evolving educational models while maintaining strong Christian values.
