Rose Schnitzer Manor, Cedar Sinai Park’s tight-knit assisted living community, has a long reputation of person-centered care for elders. That means the care is the way elders want it, always.

“From the day I set foot here, you could tell there was something different about Rose Schnitzerr Manor,” said Resident Arthur. “It feels like somebody’s home. It feels like your home.”

For 26 years, the Manor has been connecting people of all faiths and backgrounds, within a joyful environment based on the Jewish values of love, honor, and respect.

“For me, the people are everything,” said Resident Zetta. “The staff is great.”

The honoring of mothers and fathers is integrated into every facet of life at Rose Schnitzer Manor. Residents quickly become members of the family.

“If I were at my last home, I wouldn’t have met all these great people,” said Resident Shirley. “I’ve made so many nice friends!”

Rose Schnitzer Manor is known for its care, but also for its robust activities program.

“You never have to worry that someone isn’t going to watch you and take care of you,” said Shirley. “But you can have all the privacy you want, too.

And there is something to do every hour, every single day,” said Shirley.

“We have so many activities!” said Arthur.

“I think that anybody who comes here can find something that they like to do here,” said Zetta.

Manor apartments are light-filled, with flexible floor plans. There is weekly housekeeping and linen service, and a concierge. The Manor is a pet-friendly community, and all residents have a free membership to Mittleman Jewish Community Center for swimming, and other classes.

Arthur said he likes the food, which includes three nutritious meals daily. Zetta loves the easy access to woodsy walking trails and puzzling with friends. And Shirley is frequently in the Manor game room, and never misses a Happy Hour!

“I have been overjoyed with my decision to come here,” said Zetta.

“It’s a wonderful place to be,” said Shirley.

“If I were to tell someone to come here,” said Arthur, “I’d say, ‘why don’t you move in now . . . before you get too old!”
