Battle Ground School District (BGSD) is one of the largest and most geographically diverse public school districts in Washington State, covering over 273 square miles in Clark County. With 18 schools and more than 13,000 students, the district serves a diverse mix of urban, suburban, and rural communities, offering high-quality education, innovative programs, and strong career pathways.

Battle Ground students have access to a wide range of academic opportunities, including programs for gifted learners, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and technology-integrated classrooms at all grade levels. The district also features vocational training programs in partnership with the Clark County Skills Center, providing students with hands-on workforce experience and career readiness. Additionally, Battle Ground is home to the nationally recognized STEM education program, the Center for Agriculture, Science, and Environmental Education (CASEE), which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. This unique program offers students hands-on learning experiences in environmental sciences, sustainable agriculture, and ecological research.

The district operates six primary schools, six middle schools, one K-8 school, one 3-12 academy, two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, and one homeschool support program, ensuring flexible and personalized learning options for every student. With a commitment to academic excellence, career preparation, and environmental education, Battle Ground School District continues to be a leader in Washington State public education.
